Ingredients

  • 2 cups soy milk or milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons peanut powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey,  depending on desired sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat small saucepan over low heat. Add the milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, peanut powder, honey and vanilla, and stir to until well-combined. Bring to steaming – just below a simmer — for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. Remove pan from heat. Stir vigorously. Taste and add cayenne pepper if using.
